Tuesday is all you care to eat tacos. They used to bring three tacos at a time, but on the last visit they brought four. I have eaten six tacos before, but on the last visit I only ate the four. They stop serving lunch at 2 PM, so plan accordingly. 7 PM is a little late for dinner for me, but they do have live music on Tuesday evenings. All you can eat tacos is also Tuesday evening.

I was pleased with the service and the speed of the food coming out! It was BYOB, there's a Love's gas station right across the street so you can grab something to drink and walk back. When I went there was live music on Friday. Warning, it's a very small place so get there early on a weekend.

Omg! The best breakfast tacos in Lubbock. I had the chorizo egg and cheese and my friend had the beef and egg. Generous portions, very filling and fresh salsa! So yummy and can't wait to go back.

Friday night dinner around 7:45 PM, one other car in the parking lot. Music by a three piece group was good but not enough to make up for this poor experience. Salsa was not as favorable as in the past. This is the second time we've been here that they've run out of chili rellenos, one of the main items in their limited menu. No excuse for such poor kitchen management. I would rather see you freeze or throw out a half dozen unsold rellanos than loose customers. The queso dip was about as good as it's ever been. It just seems like overall, this place has lost its charm and good authentic flavor. Too many choices in the Lubbock area to make the drive out to the airport area to be this disappointed. I wish you luck but you've lost our business for good.

Until today I didn't know this existed -- which makes me a little sad because I thought I knew ALL of the out of the way places.
In a nut shell: The food was good, the service was slow.
I'm not blaming Mi Taco Village entirely because we got there in the middle of the lunch rush. Of the dozen or so tables, we took the last one. I think that there were a total of two empty chairs in the entire restaurant, so it was hoping. There were two waitress who were working there asses off to try and keep up with the food, customers, and register but they were falling behind. And honestly, I'm glad they were because that shows me that others know this place is a keeper and will be 'our' little secret. By my guess, this is the only restaurant for about 9 miles in any direction so 'little secret' might not be accurate enough.
The chips that they gave us were very good but the salsa could have been a little more potent. A chip refill never came because of the rush but we were given a pretty large pile to start with. I can't explain why, but I ordered a cheese burger at a Mexican restaurant and it was very good... perfectly greasy and tasty.
I enjoyed my visit because it's a different kind of place. I will definitely be going back and as I learn how to work the crowd to my favor Mi Taco Village will likely be gaining an extra star from me.
